Adult and Paediatric BLS & AED Training (CPR certification) - 5 hrs

/media/coursedescriptions/library/paediatric-cpr.jpgThis short Adult and Paediatric Basic Life Support course with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) meets the RCGP WPBA CPR and AED training requirements for GP's (updated April 2023).

Hands-on training covers:

  • Adult Basic Life Support
  • Paediatric (infant and child) Basic Life Support
  • AED (Defibrillator) training for use on both adults and children

CPR is taught in accordance with the latest UK Resusciation Council guidelines. The course is fully assessed leading to a certificate of competence which is valid for  3 years, although many medical institutions will require you to renew your training annually.

We can send a trainer to your premises to run an in-house group course or we have an open programme of Adult and Paediatric BLS & AED courses for the public to attend in Central London.

Basic Life Support Course with AED Training - half day

  • Attend an annual CPR refresher course
  • Learn to use a defibrillator (AED)
  • Update or learn Basic Life Support BLS skills

We can send a trainer to your premises to run an in-house group course or we have an open programme of BLS & AED courses for the public to attend in Central London. You can choose a date and a venue from the list below and book online.

Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis (Epipen) Training - half day

/media/coursedescriptions/library/epipen.jpgThis 4 hour course is designed for teachers, group leaders, carers, workplace first aiders or anyone else who needs training in how to recognise anaphylaxis and how and when to use an adrenalin auto-injector.

This course will look at the different types of adrenalin auto-injector available in the UK: Epi-pen, Jext and Emerade. You will refresh you CPR skills and learn how to manage an incident where a casualty known to have anaphylaxis is suffering from a severe allergic reaction.
