Adult and Paediatric Emergency Life Support Course
This one day, practical and assessed Adult and Paediatric Emergency Life Support Course covers:
- Adult CPR*
- Paediatric (infant and child) CPR*
- AED (Defibrillator) training for use on both adults and children
- Choking - adult, child and infant
- Bleeding
* CPR & AED use is taught in accordance with the latest UK Resusciation Council guidelines. The course is fully assessed leading to a certificate of competence which is valid for 3 years, although many medical institutions will require you to renew your training annually.
The course is designed for organisations who need a course to cover adult and paediatric (child and infant) protocols. Standard workplace first aid courses are degisned soley for adults and paedaitric first aid courses only cover children and infants. Instead of chosing which staff to train in each course type this course covers both adult and paediatric.
This course is run as a private in-house course at your organisations own premises.
