Efua Uiterwijk
Efua is a highly experienced professional trainer who has been working in outdoor education and expedition leading since 1998. After having done many first aid courses and having dealt with medical emergencies both at home and overseas, in 2003 she did her training to teach first aid and has been delivering First Aid courses, especially for the education and outdoor sectors, ever since. She has a keen focus on experiential learning and personal development and believes in the importance of empowering people to take personal responsibility in any environment. In 2005 Efua also trained in Peadiatric First Aid and now having a small child is keenly aware of the importance of basic first aid knowledge for parents and carers. Efua is based in London and teaches and manages at the Castle Climbing Centre in between climbing trips in Europe and looking after her daughter. 06 January 2007
