Every month the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) produce a "Myth of the Month" newletter where they dispell many urban myths that circulate about the HSE. These often arise from ill-considered and over protective actions from the persons responsible for health and safety in organisations or at events, rather than from the HSE itself.
